About Pueblo County Historical Society and Heritage Museum
Since 1975, the Pueblo County Historical Society has been dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Pueblo County. Now proudly operating with the Pueblo Heritage Museum, we house an extensive collection that includes over 25,000 historic photographs, a research library with more than 10,000 books and periodicals, and display over 3,500 historical artifacts. A cornerstone of our work is The Pueblo Lore, a beloved publication that continues to connect community members with the stories of our past. Whether through genealogy, research, exhibitions, or publications, we remain committed to bringing together those passionate about the history of Pueblo, Pueblo County, and Southern Colorado.
