About Pula Airport
Pula Airport is one of nine international airports in Croatia. It was founded in 1967. It is located in the municipality of Ližnjan, in the immediate vicinity of the connection to the state road D-401, the county road ŽC-5120, ŽC-5121, the village of Loborika and is 8.6 km from the centre of Pula and is located at an altitude of 83.5 meters. On December 14, 2017, Pula Airport gained an aerodrome certificate in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 139/2014 as aerodrome reference code 4D with the authority to manage the aerodrome and can independently provision of apron management services. The passenger terminal of Pula Airport is a simple passenger terminal built on two floors (main and ground), which is centralized for handling domestic and international traffic. Based on statistical data and traffic structure, it is evident that international point-to-point transport prevails, especially during the summer months when traffic exceeds the capacity of the passenger terminal.
