About Pulizzi Engineering

Pulizzi Engineering was founded in 1973 as a supplier to the thriving southern California aerospace insustry. The business was founded by Peter S. Pulizzi who saw an opportunity to provide high quality electronic assembly specializing in wire assemblies. The business was privately held and managed by other Pulizzi family members (Mike Pulizzi, Peter Pulizzi Jr., Irene Pulizzi and Sara Beirne). As the computer industry was born in the 1970's, the business expanded their offering to include AC power distribution for rack mount computer systems. Pulizzi Engineering was an early supplier to Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle) and DEC (now part of HP). Over the course of 30+ years the business grew and became a key supplier to military and data center customers. The business secured multiple US patents for technologies related to power distribution control. As of 2007 the business occupied 3 buildings in Santa Ana, CA comprising 22,000 square feet of space and one facility in Sioux Falls, SD.
