About Puppy Rescue Flights-FL, Inc

Puppy Rescue Flights Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit that flies puppies from Alabama to Florida (you’re picturing that right, puppies in planes). These pups come from overcrowded shelters and private rescues in rural areas of Alabama where adoption is highly unlikely, often leading to euthanasia. Each pup we fly to Florida goes to a rescue group that ensures they receive medical care, are spayed or neutered, and get lots of love until they find their forever home. Puppy Rescue Flights was unofficially started in 2010 by Pilot Mike Young, who has now flown over 11,000 pups with help from other pilots! What started as a personal effort is now a substantial operation with dozens of volunteer pilots in Alabama and Florida, as well as hundreds of dedicated ground volunteers in both states.
