About Pure Dance
Pure Dance first launched in the early 2000s on Sky Digital and online, quickly becoming known for championing dance music in all its forms - from house and trance to hardcore and beyond. With a lineup that featured some of the biggest names in the scene, the station reached close to a million listeners before closing in 2006. Fast forward nearly 20 years, and Pure Dance has returned - rebuilt from the ground up for the digital era. Today, the station broadcasts online, via smart speakers, apps, and soon on DAB, combining huge dance anthems with shows from internationally recognised DJs and labels. With its roots in the pioneering days of internet radio and its eyes firmly on the future, Pure Dance is once again bringing world-class dance music to a global audience.
