About PURE Education Initiative

PURE Education Initiative, Inc. is a non profit organization that has the vision to create a culture where people value themselves and their relationships, by equipping people to choose healthy relationships for a hopeful future. We educate with medically accurate, data-driven information; so that individuals can make informed, healthy choices. We teach about decision-making and consequences using the whole-person health model. Each grade level's curriculum expands on the information from the prior year, but is also able to stand on its own. PURE has programs for K-12 grades with age-appropriate information at every level. Our K-5 curriculum are geared toward abuse prevention; educating students about personal and interpersonal respect, and healthy boundaries. PURE also provides a puberty education program for 5th graders; focusing on personal health, respect for others, and what changes are to be expected during that stage of growth. Students in our 6-12 grade programs are educated about healthy and unhealthy relationships as they learn about the impact of decisions, sexual risk avoidance, and abuse prevention.
