About Pureat

PUREAT is the result of the entrepreneurship of two women, since long ago associated with the food world: Teresa Santos, who has been promoting gastronomy as a qualifier asset for Portugal as a tourism destination, and Fátima Moura, food writer and researcher in the areas of food and gastronomy, with several books published in these same areas. Together, in PUREAT, they plan and organize events, for the general public and corporate, always featuring original, even mind blowing, gastronomic experiences. Through its two brands, Genial Picnic and Street Food Portugal Tour, PUREAT proposes leisure and fun experiences, immersed in the nature tourism and allowing to fully enjoy the open air. With Genial Picnic, we transform a picnic in a showcase for local gastronomy, different in each region, but we also want to communicate all other picnic experiences created by our partners. The main objective is to add value to special gastronomic offers through a theme brand, boosting the concept of nature tourism. With the brand Street Food Portugal Tour, the first Portuguese brand of Street Food events and the first itinerant concept, we want to tour Portugal with world foods in a caravan of several food trucks that stop in several cities and villages. Simultaneously, we also divulge the local gastronomy and products, remodelled as street food. With this concept, we want to contribute for the territorial cohesion to disclose small producers, and to revalue the traditional dishes, by giving them a trendy new boost.
