About Purgo Scientific

Purgo Scientific is a medical device company developing a novel method for targeted therapeutic drug delivery. While there are many applications for this method, the initial goal is to treat and prevent biofilm-related surgical site infections that compromise indwelling devices such as orthopedic implants. Targeted drug delivery against biofilms with local, high dose concentrations of antibiotic have a better chance at treating these infections than other therapies.
