About Puyallup Extrication Team
The Puyallup Extrication Team (aka PXT) founded in 2000 is a non profit team/group of professional firefighters that teach and compete in Auto Extrication. The team based out of Seattle Washington has instructed thousands of Firefighters from Seattle to Chicago as well as in Europe. PXT is a mobile company that possess enough state of the hydraulic rescue tools, pnuemantics, hand tools as well as the course curriculums to instruct up to 44 firefighters/students per class. The team, funded by private donations and course tuitions instructs to and above the NFPA standards; 1006,1670 and 1001. They are also DPSST cetified in the state of Oregon. The team has won several awards competing in local, national as well as international auto extrication competitions.
