PWr in Space to koło naukowe działające przy Politechnice Wrocławskiej już od 2017 roku. Tworzymy zespół 60 osób, które łączy wspólne zamiłowanie do rakiet, technologii kosmicznych i poszerzaniu wiedzy o kosmosie. Mimo, iż samo koło działa na Wydziale Mechanicznym, dzięki interdyscyplinarności swoich projektów, zrzesza studentów z całej Politechniki Wrocławskiej. Naszym głównym przedsięwzięciem jest projekt PoliWRocket - zakładający budowę eksperymentalnych rakiet sondujących. Nasze konstrukcje tworzymy samodzielnie - począwszy od fazy projektowej, przez modelowanie 3D oraz prace warsztatowe, rozwijając przy tym swoją wiedzę i umiejętności techniczne.Do tej pory udało nam się skonstruować 8 głównych rakiet i odbyć 16 udanych lotów. Co roku uczestniczymy w studenckich zawodach rakietowych Spaceport America Cup w Stanach Zjednoczonych i European Rocketry Challenge w Portugalii, by konkurować z drużynami z całego świata.
