About Pyxima

Pyxima is een KU Leuven spin-off die software diensten levert voor de zorgsector. Onze missie is de kwaliteit van leven helpen verbeteren van kwetsbare mensen door technologische software innovatie. Pyxima's health care product is Pyxicare (www.pyxicare.com), een platform voor mobiele zorgevaluatie in de ouderenzorg. Zorgverleners registreren via tablet een volledige evaluatie van de zorgsituatie van een patiënt aan de hand van het internationaal gevalideerde instrument InterRAI. Deze belicht zeer veel aspecten van de zorgsituatie van de patiënt: lichamelijk, cognitief, sociaal, psychologisch, medisch, enz. en geeft een holistisch en objectief beeld van de individuele zorgsituatie. Zorgverleners krijgen meteen indicatoren te zien die de zorgsituatie samenvatten, eventuele problemen signaleren en mogelijke zorgprotocollen voorstellen. Deze evidence based resultaten zijn een belangrijk element voor het zorgteam om het zorgplan objectief te onderbouwen. Naast Pyxicare levert Pyxima ook het PREZO Woonzorg kwaliteitssysteem (http://www.prezowoonzorg.be/) aan Vlaamse woonzorgcentra in partnerschap met Zorgnet-Icuro.
