PZdynamics Ltd is a specialist marine engineering consultancy company based in the historic shipbuilding city of Glasgow (Scotland). With offices only 100 yards away from where the engines were built for the world’s first cross Atlantic steam ships, the company embodies the same pioneering progressive spirit from back in these days, developing solutions for the revolutionary changes the maritime industry currently is going through. We are specialised in providing solution regarding: - Reoccurring damage of structures, drivelines, couplings, gearing, bearings and motor components - On board and underwater noise and vibration levels and ship design (passenger/cruise vessels, merchant vessels) - Extreme shock/impulse loading/gear hammer - Ship efficiency, operation and emissions - Vibration based condition monitoring What makes us unique in the consultancy market is our ability to develop custom made mathematical simulation models and measurement techniques which allows us to solve problems which could not have been solved by ‘off the shelf’ standard simulation methods as generally used in the industry. Our clients are typically ship operators, shipyards, offshore/dredging companies, and ship design companies. We provide our services to solve problems on vessels and machinery already in operation and evaluate ship/machinery and structural design for new build and refitting projects so no problems will occur once a vessel or piece of equipment goes into service. We also carry out or project lead research projects and feasibility studies for the industry and academia looking at future strategies related to subjects such as ship efficiency, maintenance, fuel savings, alternative fuels, emissions and underwater noise.
