About Q Connection
Q Connection is an entrepreneurial business, started in February of 1996 by David Lotz and his sons. From April of 2011 through October of 2013 it was owned and operated Tom Whitt while David worked for ExactRail, but is once again owned by David. We have grown from offering a small line of Chicago, Burlington & Quincy related coffee mugs and mouse pads to a very diverse hobby company: - producing and marketing limited edition model railroad kits that are "connected" to the Burlington Route - retailing other manufacturer's model railroad kits and brass models that are "connected" to the Burlington Route - providing Editorial services for the Burlington Route Historical Society and the Rio Grande Modeling and Historical Society - providing web services for smaller model railroad companies
