About Q-Ship Management
Welcome to Q-Shipping! We provide ship management solutions for different types of vessels. We have a wide range of experience in managing bulk carriers, tankers, container vessels, multi-purpose vessels, and yachts. We act as a third party ship manager, meaning we are an independent party acting on behalf of ship owners. Our services are offered in tailor-made management solutions, focusing on our customers’ requirements. The additional advantage of Q-Shipping’s services is that due to our status of Dutch ship manager, our foreign clients have the possibility to opt-in for the Dutch tonnage tax scheme. History In 1997, Q-Shipping was established by a small group of captain owners. They were managing their own 6 short-sea bulk carriers. 3 years later the fleet increased to 12 ships, including vessels from external parties. In 2004 the captain owners decided to sell their vessels, which resulted in a change of the management philosophy of Q-Shipping. As from that moment, Q-Shipping’s core-business was offering 3rd party ship management services to external customers. We currently provide full ship management to 13 vessels, and additionally several partial management services to 5 other vessels. Today Q-Shipping employs over 25 people in the Netherlands (head office), Turkey (branch office), Ukraine, Estonia & Indonesia (crewing agencies).
