Qatar Academy Msheireb Established in 2014, Qatar Academy Msheireb, a member of Qatar Foundation operating under Pre-University Education, is a state-of-the-art Primary, a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, and a CIS Accredited School. At QAM everything has a purpose, and learning is relevant to the ‘real world’ within a dual-language curriculum that is structured to be rigorous, stimulating and challenging. The Program of Inquiry centers around ‘big ideas’ and provides students with opportunities of learning about issues that have local, national and global significance, and hence nurtures an understanding of human commonalities. The transdisciplinary nature of the themes ensures that learning transcends the confines of traditional subject areas, and facilitates student connections between life in school, life at home and life in the world. QAM offers an inclusive education where students evolve as individuals who are self-motivated, creative and can think, question and reason logically. All students are encouraged to be curious about what they are learning, and differentiation allows them to demonstrate what they have learned by using a variety of mediums or tools at different levels that are appropriate to individual needs. *Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its three academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), or the Diploma Programme (and in addition the IB Career-related Certificate).
