About Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre
The QICDRC is a specialist civil and commercial court and is part of the Qatar judicial system. Led by the President of the Court, Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, our body of world-renowned judges represents various jurisdictions, including Qatar, Kuwait, France, Germany, India, New Zealand, South Africa, the United States, and the United Kingdom. They uphold global best practices in the delivery of fair and efficient judgments, while enforcing the QICDRC core values of Justice, Teamwork, Innovation, Integrity and Service Excellence. In addition to the Court, the Regulatory Tribunal of the QFC has the jurisdiction to hear appeals raised by individuals and corporate bodies against decisions of the QFC Authority, the Regulatory Authority, and other QFC institutions. Our state-of-the-art courtroom boasts some of the most sophisticated courtroom technology in use today including QICDRC’s innovative electronic case management system ‘eCourt’. Since its establishment in 2009, the QICDRC has played a crucial role in the development of a fair, impartial and transparent judicial system that provides enhanced access to justice in line with the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030.
