About QBR: The Black Book Review
QBR: The Black Book Review has been called "the African American book review of record" by the New York Times. We strive to promote quality literature written by and about the African diaspora experience. This includes authors published, in both printed and digital format, by traditional publishers, independent and university presses, and self-published authors. We have recently launched The Book Channel Online, a book review and author interview channel that promotes newly-released titles from throughout the Diaspora. Visit www.youtube.com/thebookchannelonline for great book and author videos. Persons of African descent are not culturally monolithic; neither is their literary world. As technology moves forward, QBR remains committed to ensuring that our voices are represented and accurately reflected in the mosaic that is our growing global community.
