Individuals that have been approved under the QCAS scheme are issued with a QCAS picture ID card and a unique number. The QCAS scheme checks documents provided by the individual including: Identity documents Training certificates Enhanced DBS certificate and live update checks Eligibility to work in the UK References QCAS approved individuals agree to conform to the QCAS code of conduct. This defines the standards required of approved individuals working within the Quality Care Approval Scheme. These standards have been developed to ensure that individuals are equipped to deliver high quality adult client services and they are operating fairly at all times. They must also comply with all legislation that applies to their activities whilst delivering services to clients and only deliver services that they are qualified, experienced and sufficiently competent to carry out.
