About QHS

Founded in 1995, QHS (formerly Quality Heating Services) has grown from a small gas maintenance and repair company to a sizeable business with multiple-divisions and capabilities, including electrical heating repairs and installations, Landlord Gas Safety Record annual safety checks, EICR inspections, smart meter installations, smoke detectors, heat sensors and carbon dioxide alarm checks and installations. QHS also offer a range of renewables, such as solar photovoltaic systems installations, storage solutions and air source heat pumps etc. Our reputation in the industry is founded on many years of successful partnerships and high-quality work. Currently we look after the service and/or repair and installation contracts for St Albans District Council, Paradigm Housing Association and major UK Utility providers. Many of the Directors and staff have worked at QHS for decades, whilst many others have also been loyal to the company for numerous years. This firm foundation of staff stability and expertise has enabled QHS to have successful long-term working relationships with numerous clients, leading over the last few decades to many productive partnerships and an enviable track record. Only a minority of all QHS staff work at our Head Office, due to the fact that the vast majority of staff that QHS employ are permanently “on the road” highly trained field operatives, most of whom are experienced qualified gas or electrical engineers. QHS have a specialist smart-metering division providing a Category Two contracted service to large UK energy providers. We are specialists in the installation, service and repair of dual-fuel meters; servicing of gas meters; energy exchange programmes and maintenance of gas in high-rise buildings. Our contact centre is based in our Head Office in High Wycombe. Operations are ongoing 24-hours a day, 7 days a week throughout the year.
