About QMTS Training
QMTS Training was formed in March 2003 in response to an increasing number of requests to conduct specific maritime related training. In January 2006 we began to focus on the delivery of commercial courses including Shipboard Safety Skill Set, Coxswain 1 & 2, Master 24, Master 35 and Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 and have built a number of partnerships with the maritime industry to facilitate training activities. We also provide a fully funded Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation course to School students in grade 10 - 12 using VETis funding. We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) – Provider number 40505. Included in our scope of registration are the following courses: All our commercial courses have AMSA approved assessment instruments and industry based task books. We conduct training throughout South East Queensland with scheduled courses in Brisbane.
