QPO S.A.S. operates a multimodal terminal of exceptional scale, located at the heart of the Grand Port Maritime de Dunkerque (GPMD). With 50 hectares of storage areas, the terminal stands as a regional industrial benchmark, specialising in the unloading, processing, packaging and storage of raw materials and minerals. The terminal’s capacity allows for the handling of vessels up to Capesize class, positioning QPO S.A.S. as a key player on the North Atlantic seaboard. This performance is reinforced by its strategic location — at the entrance to the world’s busiest maritime route — and by the technical expertise of highly qualified teams, whose professionalism and commitment define both the human and operational character of its activities. QPO S.A.S. carries out complex blending operations involving different product grades to meet the commercial and technical requirements of its clients. The facility is equipped with high-performance coal screening systems and advanced units dedicated to the processing of aggregates and pellets, ensuring services of the highest technical quality. In addition to its vessel-to-vessel transhipment capacity, which integrates it into global maritime networks, QPO is connected to the European rail system, offering exceptional multimodal connectivity. This enables the efficient distribution of goods across the continent as well as within France via inland waterways and road networks. Founded in 2021 to address the closure of Dunkerque’s bulk terminal, QPO has taken on the demanding mission of supporting a historic regional industrial base that remains vital to the French economy. Since its creation, QPO has continued to strengthen its facilities, becoming a solid link in national logistics and production chains.
