About QREATE

We live in an era of disruption. The profound social and systemic upheaval of our current age calls for not just new social responses, but new social instincts. What do we do? Create. We are a growing group of creatives across all media seeking new ways to mobilize the powers of the arts for action research, embodied critical inquiry, and galvanizing generative social change. We believe in the unique capacity of the arts to awaken the senses; cut through noise and shape culture; shift perception and spark dialogue; express lived experience and convey complex system dynamics. Through design and discourse, our central aims are to co-create content centered on pressing intersectional issues, and to cultivate artistic collaborations that push cultural boundaries and open opportunities for deeper connection among creative communities. - QREATE begins this year as an initiative in the Presencing Institute’s Societal Transformation Lab, within a global cohort of change-makers guided by practices from Otto Scharmer’s Theory U.
