The QTF Regional Program (formerly the Quality Texas Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to driving performance excellence across Texas and beyond. Founded in 1990 with support from the Governor of Texas, QTF was modeled after the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award to promote organizational excellence across industries. Through collaborative efforts with the Governor’s Office, the Texas Department of Commerce, and Texas businesses, QTF was created to empower organizations to achieve sustainable success using the Malcolm Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence. Today, the QTF Regional Program goes beyond the Baldrige Framework by integrating principles of continuous improvement, organizational development, Lean Six Sigma, and other proven performance excellence methodologies. This comprehensive approach helps organizations strengthen leadership, improve operations, and deliver measurable, long-term results.
