About Quality Pool Service
Quality Pool Service, Inc. had its beginning in 1974 as a swimming pool service company. It was work for Floyd Green and served to help pay his expenses while attending Dallas Theological Seminary. As time passed Floyd’s brother-in-law, Derek Pocock, who also was attending Dallas Theological Seminary merged his swimming pool company into Quality Pool Service, Inc.. In 1981 Quality Pool Service, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas. The company had grown and expanded to cleaning swimming pools, repairing pool equipment and renovating swimming pools. In the middle of the 1980’s Quality Pool Service, Inc. began building swimming pools. In 1985 Bob Hentschel joined Quality Pool Service, Inc., bringing his management expertise. He quickly learned the swimming pool business from cleaning swimming pools, repairing pool equipment and how to renovate and build pools. In 1987 George Hentschel joined the company and brought his expertise in finance and financial analysis. It was the intention of Bob and George Hentschel to purchase Quality Pool Service, Inc. in 1987. Quality Pool Service, Inc sold to Bob and George Hentschel in 1990. Bob and George Hentschel are the sole owners of Quality Pool Service, Inc. Quality Pool Service, Inc. presently handles cleaning both personal backyard and commercial swimming pools in the Dallas metropolitan area. The company handles cleaning of pools, repairing pool equipment and renovating existing swimming pools. Quality Pool Service, Inc. built its last swimming pool in 1991. The company handles pools located from Highland Park to Frisco, from Garland to Irving, Texas. While considered a small privately held corporation, with a total of 12 employees, the atmosphere is more of a family run company providing good service to homeowners in the Dallas, Plano and Frisco area.
