Our Vision: In the year 2050, 10 million people will die each year due to antibiotic resistance. Our motivation and inner drive is the tireless fight against this global threat. With our research and a correct diagnosis, we make a significant contribution and want to prevent that in 30 years antibiotics no longer help and people die as a result. We transform our excellent and high-quality research in the field of infectious diagnostics into the development of medical products that have the potential to lead to a game change. Our work: Qualizyme Diagnostics focuses strongly on the development of detection systems for the diagnosis of infections in humans as well as in animals. Our diagnostic solutions enable healthcare professionals to detect infections at an early stage. The resulting timely and targeted therapy leads to reduced costs for the healthcare system, reduced suffering for patients, fewer hospital stays and, most importantly, reduced and targeted use of antibiotics. This is the most important step to counteract the global threat of microbial resistance.
