About Queen Square Imaging Centre
The Queen Square Imaging Centre is a state of the art 3T MRI and CT scanning facility based in Queen Square (WC1N). With close links to the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the unit provides specialist diagnostic neuroimaging services using both MRI and CT modalities to private and NHS patients. In August 2022, the Queen Square Imaging Centre was proud to become the UK independent health sector's first MR-Guided Focused Ultrasound treatment facility. In collaboration with the functional neurosurgeons and movement disorders group of Queen Square (the most active in Europe), QSIC is pleased to be able to offer rapid access to specialist MDT-led assessment and treatment for patients with Essential Tremor. QSIC works together with the Chenies Mews Imaging Centre (our clinical and research cardiac MRI unit located close to the main campus of UCLH NHS Trust and University College London) to provide a seamless whole body MRI service, including MRI for patients with cardiac pacemakers. The Queen Square Imaging Centre and Chenies Mews Imaging Centre are owned and operated by QS Enterprises Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the UCLH Charity. Since 1985, more than £30million has been donated to the charity, which has been used to fund a number of service developments which otherwise, may not have been possible.
