About Queens Of the City
Our mission is to empower marginalised young people and adults who are at risk of, or currently experiencing grooming and sexual exploitation, by providing access to mental health support, mentoring, life skills, and career pathways. We are equally committed to early prevention through education, awareness, and community engagement-equipping individuals with support networks with the tools to identify risks and intervene before harm occurs. We envision Queens Of the City to be a vital support hub with a permanent, accessible space where we offer a range of services such as: • Community Building – Create safe, inclusive spaces that bring people together, encourage shared learning, and strengthen local networks. • Mental Health Support – Run workshops on mental wellness, resilience, and self-care, while also connecting people to vital mental health resources. • Mentorship and Empowerment – Help people build confidence, set goals, and overcome challenges through mentorship and personal development workshops. • Public Speaking - Empower individuals within our community to use their voices with confidence and authority. • Vocational Training – Offer hands-on training like nail artistry to help individuals gain job skills, boost confidence, and explore new career paths. Through advocacy, education, creative education, mentorship, community engagement, and social action projects, we support all ages – particularly those at risk or those who are currently victims of grooming, sexual exploitation or social struggles. We also tackle issues such as school exclusion, youth and adult unemployment, sexual exploitation and grooming prevention and intervention. We are committed to fostering resilience, self-expression, and leadership, ensuring that every adult and young person has the tools create an unbreakable chain that’s committed to permanent and positive change 'From Us To Them & Beyond'.
