Queensland ADHD & Neurosciences Clinic provides integrated Specialist Psychiatry, Neuropsychology and Psychology services with a focus on the individual their partners, carers and family. At QANC, Clinicians provide a specialised service in early detection, clinical diagnosis and treatment for ADHD, Autistic Spectrum/ Asperger’s Disorder as well as commonly associated Learning problems. QANC provides families, carers and partners an avenue for education, awareness and understanding of complex Neurocognitive Disorders. This is done by an evidence based, integrated and scientific approach involving the individual and the stakeholders from the very first consult. At QANC we are extremely passionate about not racing to create a diagnostic box without a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s uniqueness, the trauma that they have faced and the high burden of care that is shared by their loved ones. We do not believe that such individual uniqueness and complex diagnosis should be labelled necessarily in a “one-off” session. The QANC team is passionate about our high functioning clientele who tend to inadvertently mask and minimise their cognitive difficulties without the realisation of its impact on their relationships, achievements and Mental Health. QANC offers partnerships with ongoing shared oversight of a clinical treatment plan that is driven by individuals and their families on a scientific basis. At QANC specialist staff have expertise in the lifelong difficulties often faced by ADHD and Aspergers sufferers including Anxiety, Trauma, Depression and Drug Addiction. We believe that without a Specialist driven integrated Psychological and GP care, a comprehensive treatment plan is difficult to implement inline with the uniqueness of the patient. We are committed to breaking down the barriers of social stigmas and taboos about Mental Health and we strive for transparency, openness and compassion.
