About Quesos Lominchar

The family Lominchar of Corral de Almaguer is involved in traditional sheep farming since several generations. In 1991, they start their own cheese fabrication and begin their journey as a company under the brand Quesos Lominchar, transforming their pure cheese milk from their own sheep. Since its inception the company stressed to market a product of the highest quality; for this, apart from their own livestock, the company was selecting the best herds in the area, witnessed by the Denomination of Origin Manchego flaunt our cheeses, and stays involved in programmes for genetic improvement. This, together with a factory equipped with modern machinery and rigour as for their workers in all stages of development, means that, at present, cheeses produced by Quesos Lominchar are among the most prestigious in the market. Proof of this are the numerous awards in regional and national competitions, as granted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, which certifies our Manchego Cheese Montescusa as Best Pressed Pure Cheese Sheep of Spain.
