Quill Pictures is a full service video production company that specializes in scripted and non-scripted, branded content, commercials and run ‘n gun event videography. Based in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay, our work has brought us all over The United States and abroad. Founded in 2009, we collaborate with diverse teams of freelance film crews to create tailor made video to fit your needs. We have a broad network of editors, motion graphic artists, drone operators and music composers that we bring on to enhance client projects. We pride ourselves on using state of the art equipment to deliver high quality products for a reasonable price. Our strong background in narrative work means that we always strive to tell our client’s stories in compelling ways. Founder Mike Quill is a seasoned video producer, director and cinematographer. He has over fifteen years’ experience in all aspects of production from conception to completion, creating videos for the film industry, Fortune 500 companies, agencies, start-ups, nonprofits and record labels. Quill holds a BA in Communication Studies and Philosophy from Northeastern University; and his MFA in Film and Media Art from Emerson College. Passionate about his chosen profession, he now instructs the next generation by teaching as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer at Northeastern University. When not working on videos, Mike maintains and renovates his rental properties in his hometown of Newburyport, MA, collects antiques & vinyl records and builds furniture in his wood shop.
