About Quinta do Arneiro

Quinta do Arneiro is located in the Oeste region, in the municipality of Mafra, parish of Azueira, an area renowned for agriculture, where both horticultural products and Rocha pear orchards are among the most prominent crops. In the family since 1967, Quinta do Arneiro first became known in the region for its 30 hectares of Rocha pear orchards. However, in 2007 the farm entered a new era, beginning the certification of its first hectare of vegetables under organic farming. Today, we have 5,000 m² of greenhouses, around 40 team members, and a growing number of customers whose homes we deliver our organic boxes to every week. We also supply organic and conventional stores, schools, and restaurants, including our own Restaurante da Quinta. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, it offers dishes made from the week’s harvest, straight from the garden to the plate. After your meal, you can also visit the Quinta’s Grocery Store and take our products home. We organize school visits and guided tours for groups, and twice a year we open our doors to everyone who wishes to visit and join our big celebration. This is a family project that would not be possible without the help of everyone who works here. We are proud of what we have accomplished so far - and aware there is still much to do. We work so that one day we can say: mission accomplished.
