About Qureshi Farm

Qureshi Farm is the first organic farm in Rajasthan India that offers organic fruits, vegetables, poultry & livestock. The shed was the first to be constructed as per international standards in October 2011 and was officially inaugurated by the local MLA Late BharuKhan and Senior Yaqub Haji on 30 April 2012. The farm was nominated to be part of "Faces of Transformation" program by Nations United for its humanitarian and education project 'Empower rural India through Goat farming via social media. Qureshi farm represented India from the 11 projects selected worldwide. Initiated by Akbar Khan Qureshi and supported by social media fans, the project was awarded to the Top 3 humanitarian projects worldwide for the year 2012. In 26th Jan 2014 on Republic day ceremony, the owner of the farm, Akbar Khan Qureshi's work was honored and he was awarded for the distinguished contribution in agriculture and livestock sector by the Government of Rajasthan, India. The farm holds the widest selection of pure line breed in India and conducted research on various breed developments and fodder growth by inviting scientists and experts in the field. All that is learned is shared for free via social media. The YouTube videos of got over 1.5Million views with 3,300 subscribers while the Facebook page has 4,500 fans with a rating of 4.0.
