QUT HeartBeats is a dynamic team of 25 engineering students from Queensland University of Technology, preparing to compete in the prestigious global Heart Hackathon competition. The event challenges teams to design a next-generation, novel Total Artificial Heart (TAH). Our multidisciplinary team—spanning medical, electrical, and mechanical engineering—is the first team from Queensland to enter the competition, we are committed to developing a state-of-the-art prototype that transforms patient care and helps redefine cardiac support.
