About QUT Mechanical Engineering Student Society (MESS)

MESS has become one of QUT's largest and most influential engineering student societies that offers a wide range of opportunities and events to engineering students. We have expanded our work and focus to include events that contribute to a student's growth in the engineering world through networking opportunities and technical workshops as well as enabling them to blow off steam through fun activities and give them the ability to help in noble causes. These events all fall under one of our four main areas of focus, them being: - Social - Industry - Academic - Charity We understand the life of the university student, after all we're students ourselves. That means it's just not what we do, but how we put our events together that optimises the experiences and values that our members receive. It's due to this that we've grown the way we have and why we have been as successful as we have been. We are currently searching down other avenues of opportunities and events that we can bring to our members and will continue to do so for many years to come thus ensuring that their time at QUT is a memorable and an awarding one.
