Let me start by saying thank you for deciding that you deserve better, saying enough is enough, and that it's time for positive changes in your life. I know change can make one uneasy, but I aim to help you walk through these changes here at R.E.M Counseling. You are not alone in this. I am here to help. My name is Luis Valdez, and I have been counseling individuals and couples for over half a decade. I started my career counseling at my local state hospital, helping clients with various mental health conditions. This work experience taught me to overcome adversity and stand my ground on my beliefs. I believe in helping others overcome their hardships and improving their quality of life by changing my perspective of therapy and tackling it from more than one direction. This passion for service-oriented care gave me the drive to start R.E.M Counseling. At R.E.M Counseling, I understand that life can be overwhelming and unpredictable, leading us to feel lost and hopeless as we try our best to navigate. I help you process all that swims around in your head. We will walk together through negative past life experiences and develop coping skills and strategies in a safe and controlled environment.
