About R.J. Noble Company
The RJ Noble Company has been one of the leading producers of asphalt in Southern California for over 65 years. RJ Noble operates 2 plants in Southern California, giving us the ability to service a wide area with multiple types of materials including asphalt, rubberized asphalt, recycled aggregate base and sand. Our facilities incorporate the use of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP). Having this advantage allows us to lower our material production cost. In mid-2008, the Orange facility went through a major renovation which increased our production up to 500 tons of asphalt per hour. These improvements made the plant more efficient and environmentally friendly. Our plants incorporate productive, state of the art drum plant and batch plant technologies. Our 9 storage silos hold up to 2,400 tons of hot asphalt. This provides a unique set up that gives us the capacity to supply customers with needs large and small. The Orange plant has become a one stop shop for state and local agencies as well as for private contractors. We are constantly looking for new ways to be better stewards to our community, while striving to meet all the needs of our customers. We have the ability to produce Warm Mix Asphalt with high RAP content. Warm Mix Asphalt production requires less fuel to heat the material and allows for a larger proportion of recycled asphalt products. We have partnered with local agencies to introduce this type of material to the area and continue to improve the quality of the materials while reducing our impact to the Southern California environment we all enjoy.
