Modern day living with all its demands leaves little time to undertake successfully a project within a given budget and timescale. “Because we have been, and continue to be clients ourselves, we remain close to our clients and their needs. Our experience and availability enable our clients to take informed decisions whilst renovating their property. We have seen so many people (including ourselves) making quick, sub-optimal decisions under pressure without the necessary research.” r + j studio is a passionate duo, who, through continuous dialogue, total flexibility and independence, ensures that the end product reflects each client’s own personality. We support people who plan to undertake a building project (e.g. refurbish a house, add an extension to the kitchen etc…) from start to finish. We act as "Project Manager" and are the interface between the Client, the Architect and the stakeholders. People are busy and hence have less time to obtain not only the best deal but will often lack time to supervise the works to ensure they get what they want. We do the research for their project which could include drawing a floor plan, agreeing on a design, contact stakeholders, prepare specifications for quotes, compare quotes, keep an eye on overall budget, decide on a builder and supervise the project whilst it being carried out. At all times we keep the Client informed as to the progress. r + j studio’s mission is to be cost and time efficient. We are independent and our main objective is that the finished project reflects the dream of our Client.
