Established in 1967, R. W. Electric is one of Eastern Ontario's most recognized electrical contractors. R. W. Electric has provided hundreds of industrial, commercial, institutional and residential customers with a wide range of professional and electrical related services. This independently-run family business was founded in 1967 by Roy Hodgson and his son Walter Hodgson. During these early years the company mainly focused on residential projects. As the company’s reputation and presence grew throughout the Kingston and surrounding region, business expanded into commercial projects which now accounts for a large portion of our business. Today, R. W. Electric offers clients a wide range of services through its diverse operations. Our fleet of equipment and employees with broad skill sets allow us to complete any project from start to finish. This flexibility allows us to streamline our process so that we are only working with our own crews, at a schedule and budget that meets the needs of our customers. The company continues to expand and branch out into other services, but R.W. Electric remains committed to providing clients with the same high quality workmanship and efficient service that has got us to where we are today. With our diverse line of services, industry experience and widespread knowledge of electrical applications, the company has the ability to complete a wide variety of installation and service projects.
