About RÄÄKKI Clothing

Born in a small private basement gym back in 2013, in Kamppi (Helsinki, Finland). The Raging Gym and its crew had their own crew shirts that were meant to represent their relentless and never giving up attitude towards their workouts and life in general. A small group of "underdogs & misfits" who enjoyed their own ways and company by hanging out together at the Raging Gym. A combination of hardcore training, eating, all night gaming, tattoos, partying and continuous loud music were the unitive factors between these young men and sometimes their friends wanted to come by and try this atmosphere and their workouts at this infamous private gym. The RGC shirt soon became also the shirt for these friends and customers that came by and enjoyed the lifestyle. But of course the shirt had to say "Raging Gym Member" on the front and not "Crew". The legendary Skull & Helsinki logo (our profile picture) was created soon after the member shirts and the name RÄÄKKI and the 187 logo was created and chosen to represent the lifestyle and mentality of this crew & its members. Our crew and the new RÄÄKKI brand got a sudden chance to be featured in a Finnish rap music video (Uniikki - Tikis) and in July 2015 a batch of 200 T-shirts with the skull logo were printed due to the demand of our new friends and fans. Most of these shirts were hand cut to tank tops at the Raging Gym floor, packed and shipped around Finland. Right after the T-shirts came the famous 144pcs of the 187 Snapbacks and around that time our crew also got our first contact from a big retailer (Fitnesstukku) who asked if we were in this for real or just as a hobby. We took it as a challenge and in February 2016 the RÄÄKKI Clothing brand was officially born. The rest of the story is history in the making.
