About RAAN Vision FOUNDATION

Defining “raan” — a human being; man. In its truest sense, raan represents the real human being — one who embodies strength, compassion, integrity, and purpose. RAAN Vision FOUNDATION is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals through sports, education, and community development. The foundation aims to foster growth, resilience, and collaboration by providing opportunities for underprivileged youth, particularly within the South Sudanese community, while embracing diversity and inclusion across all backgrounds. We foster growth by creating pathways for young people to develop their talents, skills, and leadership potential. Whether through high-level basketball training, educational initiatives, or mentorship programs, we equip them with the tools needed to succeed in life. Resilience is at the heart of our work. Many of the individuals we support have overcome immense challenges, and we strive to instill the perseverance and determination they need to rise above obstacles. By providing a strong support system, we help them navigate their journeys with confidence. Collaboration drives our impact. We work with community leaders, educators, businesses, and organizations to create a network of support that amplifies opportunities. We aim to bridge the gap between talent and resources, ensuring that every young person we serve has access to the best possible development programs.
