About Rabbithat

Rabbithat is a Singapore-based company that embraces the Mark Twain maxim "Don't let schooling interfere with your education." Fully aware of the fatigue that results from test-obsessed school systems, and the accompanying lack of motivation to read or learn anything beyond what is required for adequate grades, we seek to re-inspire curious minds to discover their passions and grow as thinkers. For the record, Rabbithat is not opposed to tests on principle- we simply feel that learning cannot and should not end in the classroom. Instead, we seek to empower learners to delve deep into their passions- down a rabbit hole of sorts. However, a raw and uncritical research trajectory, even if fuelled by earnest curiosity, comes with its own issues. With the tsunamis of misinformation that circulate the web, a critical thinking toolkit is more important now than ever before. Rabbithat is currently developing products, including games and illustrated books, to not only engage with the tired mind but to reemphasise the importance of critical evaluation and logical reasoning. We also recognise the importance of developed language and communication skills, and are designing products to facilitate efficient vocabulary and grammar fluency through capitalising on what students intuitively know. Rabbithat offers one-on-one lessons as well, usually focusing on English reading and writing for youth of all ages but truly capable of adapting to any student's needs. These can be in-person in Singapore or over video call for students anywhere else in the world. We're excited to play a small role in prioritising thinking in current discourse and look forward to hearing from you!
