About Rad Kids

Two Aussie brothers, with a mutual love for the Australian coast, beaches, good weather & great vibe! This all led to the formation of Rad in 2018 in Sydney, Australia; a small 100% Australian family owned & operated business, that introduced some of the latest trending beachwear & accessories to the Aussie market. During this time, our usual weekend routine involved taking our kids to the local swim schools for swimming lessons, and dealing with drenched little bodies, that transported the pool water straight into the car-not ideal! The Towel Poncho's that existed on the market didn't absorb the water sufficiently, and definitely didn't keep them warm! We decided to change that. After intensive research & development, sourcing the most absorbent and perfectly weighted cotton, testing the thickness of the fabric to be ideal for summer, winter and everywhere in between, we launched the ultimate kids accessory, Zippy by Rad Kids kids hooded towels. Super comfortable, 100% absorbent cotton, long sleeves, a hoodie & UPF50+ Rated-a true all rounder! With over 600 Five Star Verified Reviews from Aussie parents since launching in early 2021, and the Zippy family growing in 2023 with our brand new Vivid Violet colour, we hope to provide parents and kids alike with the ultimate beach, bath, pool and everywhere accessory for many years to come!
