About Raíces Sagradas Community Mental Health

Raíces Sagradas Community Mental Health is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving community mental health and well-being. We offer free, culturally sensitive mental health services to Spanish-speaking immigrants. Our mission is to support individuals who have endured unimaginable pain and trauma as they work toward healing. Our trauma-informed facilitation training for community peer leaders and professional development of Latino/a clinical interns and providers help us meet our goals. We advocate for fair compensation for Latino/a providers to ensure they can continue to serve our community. We believe that healing trauma leads to individual self-sufficiency and a better life for all. However, we recognize that the high cost of mental health services and the lack of Spanish-speaking clinicians negatively impact people of color, creating vast health disparities. Join us in our mission to make mental health care accessible and equitable and eliminate some of the well-known barriers to mental health services experienced by Latine immigrants.
