About Rainbeau
J.J.'s Mae dba Rainbeau, Inc. was founded in 1980 as a domestic resource for active wear fabrics. We have produced active wear apparel exclusively for over 40 years. Our company has several divisions, one being private label for large national retailers such as Walmart and Ross leveraging our vertical production company New Wide Group. We work with our partners to create branded and private label apparel collections. We are also known for our award-winning replenishment programs for lady's active wear and girls dance wear where we continue to provide quality products at an affordable price. Our partner, New Wide Group, has several cut and sew facilities located in Cambodia, Lesotho, Kenya, and China producing over 30 million garments each year. They also produce up to 2,500 tons of knitted fabric and up to 1,000 tons of dyeing fabric per month while holding awards for sustainability. Founded and based in San Francisco, Rainbeau is a family-owned business that has embraced the California active lifestyle for over 40 years. When spandex was introduced in the 1980s, Rainbeau was one of the first pioneers that realized it's potential in clothing. The stretch and comfort of spandex supported a freedom of movement during any and all active endeavors. Today, Rainbeau continues to be a respected and innovative manufacturer of activewear and dance apparel for women and girls across the US and the world.
