About Rainbow Mindfulness
Rainbow Mindfulness is a meditation centre based in Fréjus in the South of France. We are a not-for-profit organisation offering meditation sessions and residential retreats. We also offer the world-renowned 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme. Our founder, Helen Baldwin, has been practicing meditation for 15 years. She is British, has lived in France for 30 years, and is perfectly bilingual in English and French. Prior to founding Rainbow Mindfulness, Helen had a successful career as a business leader in the field of medical research. In 2019, she decided to leave it all behind in order to achieve her new life purpose: teaching meditation and turning her home into a peaceful haven for meditation retreats. She has participated in numerous meditation workshops and retreats, including in Buddhist monasteries in several countries, where she has received teachings from great spiritual masters. At the same time, she followed the course to become a qualified teacher of mindfulness meditation, a secular practice open to all.
