About Rainbow Municipal Water District
Rainbow Municipal Water District (RMWD) is a special California governmental agency, organized under CA Water Code, which provides water/sanitation services to the unincorporated communities of Rainbow, Bonsall, Oceanside, and a portion of Fallbrook. The District services over 8,300 water meters to agricultural and residential customers over 80 square miles in northwestern San Diego County. In addition, the District collects and transports wastewater for approximately 2,800 customers to a treatment facility in Oceanside. OUR MISSION is to provide our customers with reliable, high-quality water and water reclamation service in a fiscally sustainable manner. The District’s Board and a workforce of 58 employees are committed to serving the public with excellence, in accordance with our core values of integrity, professionalism, responsibility, teamwork, and innovation.
