About RAISEtown Care Connect

RAISEtown Care Connect is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families in the Huntingdon and Raystown region. Formerly known as Huntingdon County PRIDE, Inc., our organization has served the community since 1952—first as the local Easter Seals chapter, and then as PRIDE beginning in 1994. As we step into a new chapter under the name RAISEtown Care Connect, we carry forward the same mission, values, and commitment to care that our community has trusted for over 70 years. Our name reflects our mission: to raise the quality of life for individuals with disabilities or special needs by fostering connection, independence, and dignity. We offer a range of direct services, including: Early Intervention for children ages birth to 3, including speech, occupational, and physical therapy School-based Occupational Therapy in local school districts Speech therapy services for individuals of all ages Durable Medical Equipment Loans, providing wheelchairs, walkers, and more at no cost Specific Assistance Program, offering financial help with essential medical items or services Community Events and Outreach, including our beloved annual telethon, now known as the RAISE-A-Thon We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an equal opportunity employer.
