Työmailla tapahtuva edunvalvonta on tärkeä osa toimintaa. Rakennusliitto on sopinut työnantajaliittojen kanssa työehtosopimuksilla niistä minimiehdoista, joilla rakennusaloilla tehdään työtä. Työehtosopimuksissa määritellään mm. alan palkat, työajat, lomakorvaukset, lomien pituudet, työajan lyhennykset, arkipyhäkorvaukset ja sairausajan palkat. ********************************************************** This is one of the biggest unions of the Labour Market Organization, SAK, assembling about 70 000 members. It is the only trade union organizing and representing workers in different occupations in the building and construction industry. Rakennusliitto´s principal sphere of activities is collective bargaining concerning the terms and conditions of employment with a view to concluding collective agreements and to act as an interest organization in the labour market issues.
