RT RAM Trading, established in 1997 with the primary activity of the recovery and trading of large diameter, reject, downgrade and surplus steel pipe. The experience that has been collected since ‘97 has given RAM the ability to increase its market offering from insurance recovery and pipe repair services to affordable property rentals. RAM has over 200 000m² of available land of which a small portion is being used for its prime business operations. Within the electric fenced environment short and long term Rentals are available for Open Land Storage (2000m² to 80 000m²) and available Workshops (50m² to 500m²). The pipe industry has been using RAM for many years with portions of their logistic channel. Even though RAM offers logistic services, from port to dispatching from our yard we also offer the stand alone services such as offloading, de-nesting, storage and on loading. Transport and logistic damage of steel pipe effects the margins of the pipe industry and their insurers. RAM has assisted the industry to reduce these costs with efficient insurance recovery services which include pipe dent jacking, cut back, re-bevel, sand blasting and scrap recovery. In many cases the RAM team will also negotiate these repair costs with your insurance company.
