About Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge
RBARI is a leading no-kill animal shelter dedicated to providing second chances, safe refuge, medical care, and forever homes to local homeless dogs and cats in NJ. Focusing on those animals who need us most, RBARI has a special place for seniors, urgent medical cases, local surrenders, and regularly pulls from local animal control facilities. This focus on "local first" allows us to make an impact on the rate of euthanasia in our community and ensures we help those who have no where else to turn. In addition, RBARI is community minded, working with partner organizations to help provide low cost spay/neuter surgeries for communities in need, as well as trap, neuter and release programs to help stop the cycle of homelessness, neglect and abuse too many animals face.
